Halation by dilekt Halation by dilekt
This piece took me a while to make. I wanted to perfect it. I wanted it to have a glowy ambient feel to it. The planet took me about 4-5 hours to make. I also added a silhouette of a little boy pointing at the planet. Remember, this isn't about realism, it's about fantasy. I wanted the planet to be that low on purpose.

I'd appreciate any input, whether comment or +fav :) Thanks.

It gives the feeling that the whole world has stopped. It's beautiful.

Very nice photograph you've got. Wouldn't mind using it for my own design. Your concept is nice, but there are many errors in this.

First and msot obvious would be the planet. It's far too bright, its not blending well. Secondly, the sky is black. Due to the lighting on the photo, a nice gradient to a deep blue would be more appropriate for this. Also i dont understand the use for the half a body black kid on the hill. Theres big black brushings over the terrain, why?

I can see you have a good imagination, but try work on the details a bit longer :) Nice work

ok, i commented on the wallpaper version first, so im a nib for that but i like this one better, it looks a lot better without the black sides. the starfield is nicely done however on a close look the comet looks like a smudge :O_o: but all in all great work! :+fav:

I think the "black stuff" below the child is a shadow from a tree or something.
