However, what's with the moon being all.... messy? The rest of the photo is clear and it's all.. liquified or smudged or something.

Though I'm not into walls with planets I really like your pic. But I can imagine that it would look a lot cooler if you had given the impact more room and make the blow look bigger. Just my thoughts *g*
