This is the wallpaper version of my piece entitled "The Inevitable" [link] . I decided to make a wallpaper version due to all the positive feedback. I hope you enjoy it. Please leave any comments or favs, I would greatly appreciate it.
Though I'm not into walls with planets I really like your pic. But I can imagine that it would look a lot cooler if you had given the impact more room and make the blow look bigger. Just my thoughts *g*
Very well rendered celestial bodies, dude. It makes you wonder how just this planet, much less the human race come to an end. The atmosphere around them is well done, and of course the star field and fragments of rock are all done perfectly. It's absolutely breathtaking.
That is a very awesome graphic.I love all the detail you put into it, it stands out alot.colors are great as well.one thing that doesnt look too great from my perspective though is on the continents, the little lines look out of place and that is one of the places that stands out alot.
*sets as bg.
partly not bad my friend. only the cracks caused by the impact of that meteor thingy on the planets surface... look a bit too clear. another thing is that the small planet in the shadow of the big one is actually the same as the big one - only smaller. the left part of the planet on the upper left looks a bit weird too. maybe badly blended... - the overall color composition is fantastic... but some details look strange. keep it up buddy...
this is so nice. the details capture th feeling of vastness that entices so many of us to space. the composition of planets and the dramtic lighting is all beautiful dude. uv captured that moment of extreme anticipation when teh sun comes round so well, and teh rocks give an explosion effect.
Holy pencilcase O !!!!!
This is very beautiful !! This must be my absolutely favorite picture I've seen ! ! I really like the awesome detailed effects and how the Earth's "glow" is.. Glowing xD.
Sooo Beautíful ! Added this to my fave's, since this is just.. amazing !
Very awesome job
Gorgeous. I really like how you kept the detail true, like the city lights on the shade side of the planet. The blues and blacks of the light and shadow areas are really well chosen. The concept behind the peice is modern and yet ancient at the same time. You've done a really, really great job.
