Here's my newest submission. This time, I went for a "heavenly" look. Followed up on my new nebulae brushing technique, and improved it. I poured my heart into this, and I went for original and creative ideas. I worked a long time on this, probably about 40~ hours or so, with resulting layers amounting to 187. This is possibly my best piece, right next to The Inevitable, concerning paying attention to details and perfection.
Tried giving the land a wide view to give it some depth, and some mountains to give it a rugged/rocky look. Also added fog to give it a mysterious/strange look. I think these two things are a great combination.
I had a wonderful time creating this piece and I hope you enjoy it to it's full extent. Let your eyes wander. Comment and favs are always appreciated.
Ah, that may be one of the best drawn planets I've seen in a good while.
The nebulas are truly stunning, and everything is made with such a level of detail. Great flares from that sun.
However, it is something phoney about the terrain texture. It's just not right..
All in all this is without doubt one of the better epic space scenes I've seen in a long, long time.
Great work.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
