Here's my newest submission. This time, I went for a "heavenly" look. Followed up on my new nebulae brushing technique, and improved it. I poured my heart into this, and I went for original and creative ideas. I worked a long time on this, probably about 40~ hours or so, with resulting layers amounting to 187. This is possibly my best piece, right next to The Inevitable, concerning paying attention to details and perfection.
Tried giving the land a wide view to give it some depth, and some mountains to give it a rugged/rocky look. Also added fog to give it a mysterious/strange look. I think these two things are a great combination.
I had a wonderful time creating this piece and I hope you enjoy it to it's full extent. Let your eyes wander. Comment and favs are always appreciated.
Simply magnificient. Title fits the piece. i could critique the terrain texture... but why? art doesnt need to be perfect, it need only inspire the viewer. good work.
This picture requires a nice long gaze. It's so beautiful.
The only thing that doesn't seem right is that I think there are a few too many visible stars too close to the bright nebulae. but overall, this is a wonderful picture.
